In my entire life I have been an entrepreneur. It probably started when I was a teenager bought, renovated and sold mopeds. I like to build businesses, both at work and at leisure. Some friends say "put Lars on a desert island, he soon built a city ..."
In over 20 years I have been running my own business in the IT / educational sector. I started Elevdata in 1991 to make a difference in the Swedish school. During this time I have introduced IT in Swedish schools. After 20 years, I have now sold this company and I feel ready for new missions.
I have worked in a Scandinavian organisation and had suppliers in the UK and the U.S., which I negotiated and concluded agreements with. Bought and sold businesses and held senior positions at various levels. I am very familiar with the public sector and had almost all municipalities in Sweden as customers. With my background as entrepreneur, I am used to seeing problems as opportunities.
As a person, I'm both an entrepreneur and administrator. I appreciate new ideas and want to try to find new solutions to procedures and tasks that do not work optimal. I'm used to talking in front of large groups and to motivate change.
