Idea Hunt is excited to announce the addition of our newest team member, Ulrika Eriksson! Ulrika joins our team as an innovation leader, where she will play a key role in sales and marketing initiatives, customer training, leading innovation workshops and much more. Ulrika is a great new addition to the team and we hope the entire Idea Hunt community will give her a very warm welcome.
Ulrika is a graduate of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences where she received a degree specializing in the care and training of horses. For the past seven years Ulrika has managed a horseback riding and training facility in the Swedish area of Linkoping, and from this unique experience, she has gained a number of different skills that will aid her in her new role with Idea Hunt.
We caught up with Ulrika and asked her a few questions about her new role.
Ulrika, how did you first hear about Idea Hunt?
I first learned about it from Elia Morling, through a local sheep herding club, to which we both belong. The first time that I heard about it, I thought what a great tool and idea! I never thought I would have the opportunity to work with it, but now I’m here.
Where will you be working?
In the Linkoping Office in Sweden with Elia and the development team.
What makes you the most excited about Idea Hunt?
That the tool has so much potential, and I believe in cooperating across borders results in the best ideas.
What do you like the best about the Idea Hunt community?
That all of the people and members are open minded. It enables a lot of different people to cooperate and work together.
What do you see as the biggest challenge for companies facing major innovation projects?
To find the right tools, and more importantly, to find the right person to drive the project forward.
What are you most looking forward to about being an Innovation Leader at Idea Hunt?
To have the world as a workspace, meet with new people, and offer a tool for innovation and good ideas.
What projects are you working on outside of Idea Hunt (if any)?
I have a farm where we grow oats and grains, sheep and dogs. It takes a lot of the free time, but I love it.
