Robomow, the autonomous and innovative way to mow your lawn came to Idea Hunt seeking new ways to grow their ambassador program…and my goodness did they find some! Robomow is already pretty awesome. They’re the lawnmower company that enables you to mow your law through a mobile app! Crossing yard work off your to do list has never been easier, or this fun. It’s not hard to see why people like Robomow and would want to become an ambassador. The challenge, was how to get these innovative mowers and their apps in front of the right people, at the right time. With a $50 Amazon gift card up for grabs, it was Game on for Idea Hunters across the community!
The community brought their A Game and submitted 22 great ideas! Our own Director of Community Growth Management and submitted an idea or two - and she’s allergic to grass! The hunt was a lot of fun, and Robomow had a great time hosting it. Giselle Sendra, Robomow’s Digital Marketing Director had a tough choice on her hands! There were a lot of really creative ideas - from showing what you could do with all that time you have not spent mowing your yard, to spoofing an episode of MTV’s Cribs featuring really awesome backyards that were manicured by Robomow!
And the Winner Is…
Ultimately it was Linus Anderson who with winning idea to feature these great backyards in online videos that would be fun and attract a lot of attention from potential and current customers who are into taking care of their yards and making them into their great escape! Linus clearly had a lot of fun coming up with his winning idea and we can’t wait to see which hunt he’ll take on next.
